From December 14 to 15, 2026, the international aerospace industry will gather at the 16th Aviation Forum in Munich. The event brings together manufacturers, suppliers, technology companies and decision-makers from development, production and procurement. Key topics include resilient supply chains, intelligent technologies and the advancement of industrial processes. Automation and quality assurance, in particular, are becoming increasingly important in light of growing demands on production capacity, process stability and traceability.
For manufacturers and MRO providers of aircraft engine components, reliable testing of highly stressed components is essential. Even minor changes can affect the vibration behavior of turbine and compressor blades. Precise and reproducible testing methods help detect quality deviations at an early stage and support the reliability of safety-critical components during manufacturing and maintenance.
At AFO26, MAUL-THEET will showcase the Turbine and Compressor Blade Test Stand | TBT at Booth 75. The system was developed for non-destructive testing (NDT) of vibration-critical turbomachinery components and enables precise and reproducible assessment of various blade types, including blisks/IBRs.
High-precision analysis of natural frequencies enables the detection of deviations in the vibration behavior of the tested components. Optimized clamping conditions and automated measurement procedures support a high degree of reproducibility in test results. MAUL-THEET software enables the evaluation, documentation and traceability of measurement data, providing an important basis for quality assurance in manufacturing and maintenance.
The TBT therefore addresses key topics of the Aviation Forum: automation, process stability and reliable quality control. Reproducible test results and transparent, well-documented quality decisions are particularly important when expanding production capacities and advancing industrial manufacturing processes. The TBT helps manufacturers, suppliers and MRO companies meet these requirements when testing aircraft engine components.
