Description

To monitor production quality, brake pistons are currently cut up at random and visually inspected by employees. Some pistons are also cut up during system setup, resulting in high scrap rates and high labor costs.

With the system solution VQC for brake pistons, dynamic parameters (natural frequencies and damping) are determined and evaluated using frequency bands (good/bad). Our high frequency ranges (40kHz) with high frequency resolution allow even the smallest defects to be identified. Cracks in walls and floors, geometric and shape defects as well as defects after hardening can thus be detected non-destructively.
