We sell data acquisition systems for vibration measurement, laser vibrometers, actuators, sensors, and numerous software products in the field of structural dynamics.
Our analyzers offer various spectral functions such as FFT, Auto Power, Cross Spectrum, transfer functions, and third-octave and octave spectra. Measurement data can be saved to the hard disk in real time. For subsequent offline analysis, all the same functions are available as in real-time measurements.
We have developed our own modal analysis software for further processing of the vibration data. In addition to the classic SDOF and MDOF methods, it includes a “hand fit” function that allows the user to interactively adjust eigenvalues and thus achieve an optimal fit of the synthetic curves to the measured data. Operating deflection shape analysis in the frequency and time domains is also integrated.
As a complement, we offer the “Operational Modal Analysis” from the Danish company sVibs.
The MAUL-THEET ScanSet allows you to upgrade a simple single-point laser Doppler vibrometer to a scanning laser. The ScanSet includes a deflection mirror, a CCD camera, and complete data acquisition. With the modal option, it can be used directly for modal analysis.
The automatic modal hammer vImpact, developed by MAUL-THEET, allows frequencies up to 60 kHz to be excited without double hits. It can be triggered either by an internal timer or externally via a button or contact.
With our test benches, we measure, among other things, the natural frequencies of turbine blades and the air mass flow through blades. Blade types, limit values, and measurement data are managed in a database.
For the brake industry, we offer a damping test bench that determines the damping of shims and other materials according to SAE standards. This fully automated test bench measures temperature non-contact and triggers a measurement at each temperature level. The results are displayed as a 3D graph based on frequency and temperature.
