The automatic modal hammers of the vImpact series from MAUL-THEET were developed for precise and repeatable excitations in experimental modal analysis. They generate optimal excitation with high reproducibility, thus enabling the precise determination of dynamic properties of components and structures.
Depending on the model, impact force, impact frequency, and impact count can be individually adjusted, allowing the hammers to adapt flexibly to different test specimens and measurement tasks. The robust mechanical construction and high-quality sensor integration ensure stable measurement results even under varying environmental conditions.

vImpact-64
The compact automatic modal hammer vImpact-64 was specifically designed for use in production environments and can be seamlessly integrated into any production line, both in-line and end-of-line, thanks to its holding pin that can be mounted in five positions. At the same time, it ensures bounce-free and repeatable excitation of smaller test specimens up to 60kHz.
vImpact-63
The automatic modal hammer vImpact-63 ensures reproducible, bounce-free excitations of smaller test items up to 60kHz and offers a compact, versatile solution for precise vibration analysis in laboratory and production environments.
vImpact-2004
Due to its even more compact design and two connection positions, the automatic modal hammer vImpact-2004 is even easier to position – thanks to improved tightening mechanics without compromising on impact force and frequency range.
vImpact-2003
With an impact force of up to 2500N, the vImpact-2003 automatic modal hammer is perfect for exciting larger components and machine parts.
