EuroBrake 2026 in Mainz: Technical exchange on modern brake technology

From June 1 to 3, 2026, EuroBrake in Mainz will bring together the international brake community. As a specialized technical event for brake technology, it is aimed at developers, manufacturers, suppliers, OEMs, research institutions, and experts from testing, quality assurance and industrial applications. The focus is on current technological developments in friction materials, NVH, simulation, standardization, sustainability, brake emissions, and the changing requirements driven by electrification.

EuroBrake 2026 is particularly relevant for MAUL-THEET because many of the event’s core topics directly align with our expertise. Modern brake components must not only be designed to function, but also tested, validated and assessed under reproducible conditions. This is exactly where test stands, high-precision measurement technology, vibration analysis, damping assessment, modal analysis and quality assurance come into play.

Especially for brake pads, brake discs, shims, pistons and other components, robust measurement data is a key basis for development, release and series production quality. Natural frequencies, damping behavior, structural-dynamic properties and component integrity are all factors that influence how reliably a system can be assessed. EuroBrake provides a technically relevant setting in which test methods, measurement concepts and validation approaches are discussed in depth.

For MAUL-THEET, the visit will focus in particular on testing processes, sensor technology, data quality, automated measurement workflows and reproducible test conditions. The growing integration of physical testing, simulation and digital evaluation is also of particular interest. This is because requirements in automotive, aerospace and industrial applications continue to rise—both in terms of technical precision and in terms of efficiency, traceability and standards compliance.

EuroBrake 2026 also provides a valuable platform for direct exchange with developers, suppliers, OEMs, research institutions and quality assurance experts. For MAUL-THEET, the focus is not only on tracking current industry trends, but above all on discussing specific technical challenges—from developing new test methods to integrating reliable measurement processes into industrial workflows.

Johannes Theet, CEO of MAUL-THEET GmbH, and Karl Theet, the company’s founder, will be on site at EuroBrake 2026 and look forward to personal conversations, technical exchange and new impulses from the brake and testing technology community. We will also share current impressions from the event on LinkedIn. MAUL-THEET is looking forward to three intensive days in Mainz—and to many discussions about how high-precision testing and measurement technology becomes the basis for robust technical decisions.
