We’ve done it! Our newest automatic modal hammer is the vImpact-2003c!
The vImpact-2003c has lost a full 3kg of weight compared to its predecessor, the vImpact-2003. Its external dimensions have shrunk from 80x80mm to 60x60mm. The length has also been shortened to 320mm, including the load cell. We achieved all this without sacrificing peak force or any other features.
The smaller dimensions and lower weight make the hammer easier to set up. To further improve access to confined measurement points, there is a second mounting box for the hammer’s connection cable in the base plate. This shortens the assembled hammer length by another 100mm compared to the vImpact-2003.
