FAQ
Description
The TBT turbine and compressor blade test stand for small blades comprises a PLC-controlled hydraulic system, a two-hand control unit, a clamping unit, an automatic modal hammer, the sensors, a data acquisition module, and a standard or industrial PC with software, all integrated into a compact test stand made of aluminium profiles. The test stand configuration can be adapted to the customer’s application.
The PLC controls the proportional valves for pre-clamping, clamping and regulating the clamping force during the vibration measurement. With PLC-controlled hydraulics, clamping forces of up to 140kN are possible. The accumulators ensure that the clamping forces remain stable even during experimental measurements lasting more than 20min.
