Description
The Natural frequency test stand allows the dynamic parameters (natural frequency and damping) of various technical components to be determined with just one click. The new software option now also enables pass/fail assessments of the test object. This makes it immediately clear, even to non-technical personnel, which test specimens fail to meet the requirements.
In the development and production of braking systems, brake pads in particular play a key role. For both brake simulation during the development process and quality control in production, the dynamic properties of the brake pads are critical characteristics. The measurement-based determination of these dynamic quantities (also referred to as modal parameters) is described in the SAE J2598 standard. Together with LINK, MAUL-THEET offers a complete system that performs and evaluates these measurements fully automatically at the push of a button in accordance with SAE J2598.
In addition, the NFT can also be used for natural frequency tests on turbine blades.
The acquired data can be saved in LabLINK or exported as ASCII, PDF, or CSV files. If desired, a measurement report can also be automatically generated in Excel or PDF format.
