Description
With the frequency test stand it is possible to determine the dynamic variables (natural frequencies and attenuation) of various technical components with one click. Thanks to the new software option, it is now also possible to make pass/bad statements about the test object at the same time, which means that even non-specialist personnel can quickly see which test objects do not meet the requirements.
Brake pads, for example, play a key role in the development and production of brake systems. Both for the simulation of the brakes during the development process and for quality control in production, the dynamic parameters of the brake pads are essential characteristics. The metrological determination of the dynamic variables (also modal variables) of brake pads is described, for example, in SAE J2598. With LINK, MAUL-THEET offers a complete system that automatically carries out and evaluates these measurements in accordance with SAE J2598 at the push of a button. The data obtained in this way can be saved in LabLINK or output as ASCII, PDF and CSV. A report can be automatically created for the measurement as an Excel or PDF file.
