VDI seminar on modal analysis: Led by Dipl.-Ing. Matthias Keil, Maul-Theet GmbH

In 2025, the VDI Wissensforum GmbH will once again offer the specialist seminar „ Modalanalyse verstehen, anwenden und Ergebnisse interpretieren “. The event will be led by Dipl.-Ing. Matthias Keil, Technical Director of Maul-Theet GmbH in Berlin.

This two-day seminar is aimed at specialists in development, design, measurement and testing technology, and maintenance. The goal is to provide practical instruction on modal analysis as a key tool for vibration analysis. Participants will learn how to experimentally determine natural frequencies, mode shapes, and modal damping and how to use them to optimize structures.

Mr. Keil brings 35 years of expertise in structural dynamics and vibration measurement technology to his position. After completing his studies at TU Berlin and working as a research associate in the field of machine dynamics, he has been responsible for software and hardware development, vibration analysis, and practice-oriented engineering services at Maul-Theet for many years.
