Structural analyzer
Together with the vAnalyzer, a complete system for structure and signal analysis is available. In addition to the modal analysis, operational deflection shape analyzes can also be carried out.
Modal analysis is an effective tool for determining the vibration properties of a structure or a test object.
Datasheet (EN)
vModal is software for experimental modal analysis, i.e. determination of modal quantities (natural frequencies, damping and mode shapes) from measured transfer functions. With the help of modern vibration measurement technology, it is possible to carry out measurements on a test object within a reasonable time frame. Excitation can be carried out using standard excitation systems (modal hammer, shaker, etc.). The evaluation of the measured transfer functions can be carried out using the modal analysis software vModal, even without connected measurement technology.

UFF Import
Data from external DAQ systems can be imported as UFF files.
External data sources
An import module for UFF files is also available. There are numerous import options for measurement data from other recording devices. We create new customer-specific import filters for your measurement data upon request.
Measurement data
All measurements are transferred to the database via the measurement interface. There they can be displayed and edited. The modal separation of the transfer functions for multi-shaker excitation is also calculated in the measurement interface.
Modal analysis
The following functions are available to determine and validate the modal variables
Simulation
Sensitivity analyzes and optimization calculations can be carried out with vModal. The behavior of the structure when excited with defined forces can also be simulated. The FEM models can be optimized by comparing the mode shapes from the modal analysis and FEM calculation.
Operating vibrations
The evaluation of stationary operating vibrations can be carried out in the spectral range and time range. Evaluation in the time domain is available for unsteady oscillations.
Animation
The vibration shapes can be represented as moving wire models, surface models or hidden lines models. Time step animations of operating vibration measurements or calculated forced vibrations are also possible.
Show module
With the freely copyable show module (viewer), the results can also be displayed on other computers. Users can view, print and export the measurement data and the animated vibration shapes in the show module.
