Description

With the acoustic quality test stand it is possible to fully automatically determine the modal parameters (natural frequencies and damping) of various technical components, to detect deviating parts and to mark/eject them.

This test is particularly essential for the final inspection of aluminum components (for blowholes, coarse grain formation, and geometric deviations), brake pads (for shape deviations and pad detachment), and brake discs (for coating and cracks). In quality control during production, these modal parameters are quickly determined characteristics. MAUL-THEET offers a complete system that performs these measurements fully automatically, evaluates them, and, if necessary, marks or ejects components that deviate from the specified specifications.

Excitation unit

The broadband excitation is carried out with an automatic modal hammer

Software

The AQC software controls the entire testing process. It includes automatic measurement of test pieces in series, analysis, and communication with the production line control system.
