Tachometer | vSpeedBox

Highly accurate speed sensor with optional DAKKS calibration (DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025).
Datasheet (EN)

Description

The vSpeedBox makes it possible to record the speed information using a normal measuring channel without special tacho inputs. For this purpose, the vSpeedBox records the speed values with high precision and outputs them as DC voltage. This DC voltage can be recorded by any measuring system with a DC channel. At the same time, the pulses coming from the LED sensor are output on a TTL output. To ensure maximum accuracy, three speed ranges can be set on the box.

Advantages & Innovation

  • Highly accurate tachometer
  • Speed ranges: 400rpm, 4000rpm, 40000rpm
  • Highly accurate analog voltage output (12-bit = 4096 values)
  • TTL output (pulse/U)
  • DAKKS (ISO 17025) – Calibration optional
  • Integration into existing measuring and monitoring systems
  • Optical sensor with M16 thread
  • Simple sensor installation

Application and Integration

  • Test stands
  • Research and development
  • Machine diagnostics
  • Speed monitoring and control
  • Series testing
  • Quality control
  • Calibration of speed sensors

Procedure

The respective measuring ranges are output with a resolution of 4000 steps. If the set measuring range is exceeded, the LED operating display starts flashing. The vSpeedBox system consists of two components

  • LED sensor
  • Controller

To record the speed pulses, we also supply optical sensors that are adapted to the test setup. The speed ranges can be customized if required.
